Media Credential Options

We offer three types of credentials tailored to your needs:

Free Media Pass

  • Who It’s For: Accredited journalists, photographers, or videographers from recognized media outlets.
  • Access:
    • General seating and designated media areas.
    • Strictly for editorial purposes—no resale, monetization, or extended privileges.
  • Fee: Free (proof of accreditation required).

Team Media Pass

  • Who It’s For: Professionals hired by teams or families to capture photos/videos for player promotion, recruiting, sponsorships, or team marketing.
  • Access:
    • General seating and designated media areas.
    • Single-Day Pass: $50/day (all games on a selected day).
    • Full Event Pass: $125 (all games across 3 days, save $25).
  • Monetization: Not allowed.

Commercial Media Pass

  • Who It’s For: Independent professionals or agencies creating content for monetization (e.g., selling photos/videos or creating sponsored content).
  • Access:
    • General seating, designated media zones, and baseline access.
    • Single-Day Pass: $200/day.
    • Full Event Pass: $500 (all games across 3 days, save $100).
  • Monetization: Allowed with prior approval.

Who qualifies for a Free Media Pass?
Free Media Passes are available to accredited journalists, photographers, or videographers from recognized media outlets. Proof of accreditation, such as an assignment letter or media outlet verification, is required.
What is the difference between a Team Media Pass and a Commercial Media Pass?
Team Media Pass: For professionals hired by teams to create content for team/player use (e.g., recruiting videos, sponsorships). Monetization is not allowed.
‍Commercial Media Pass: For professionals creating content for profit (e.g., selling photos/videos or sponsored content). Monetization is allowed with prior approval.
How do I get my pass?
Your confirmation email will serve as your media pass. Once your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation email with your credential details.
Can parents or families capture their own photos or videos?
Yes, parents and families may capture photos or short clips for personal use from the general seating areas. However, professional-grade equipment (e.g., DSLRs, camcorders) and access to designated media zones are restricted to credentialed media personnel.
Can teams hire their own photographers or videographers?
Yes, teams or families may hire professionals. These individuals must apply for a Team Media Pass to access the event and comply with EIBC League policies. Unauthorized professionals will not be granted access.
Can I livestream games?
No. Livestreaming is restricted to Advanced Scouting Media and authorized partners.
What happens if I violate the policies?
Violations may result in revoked credentials, removal from the venue, and possible legal action.
What branding rules do I need to follow?
All approved media personnel must adhere to the media rules outlined in the EIBC League Media Pass Terms and Conditions.
